Facts of Language lessons

Published on

The curriculum I am building is strongly influenced by the epistomology of Anderson and Krathwohl’s 2001 text on the cognitive domain. There, it is argued that the methodologies of a discipline should be delineated into the factual, the conceptual, the procedural and the metacognitive knowledges.

I have now structured over 30 lessons which constitute the factual knowledge level for English Language, for GCSE to A-Level readings.

The next process is to begin to construct the conceptual lessons, which will draw from theorists and perspectives.

This same process has been undertaken and to some extend completed for the Literature course, and I feel confident that the entire content reflects the discipline from GCSE upto even the introductory courses of Degree level readings.
